The case features engine turned detail to both fronts and gilt interior, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The case features the monogram of the esteemed Sir James Oswald Fairfax to the interior, with the hallmarks well struck. A wonderful piece of Australian sterling silver with media mogul provenance.
Closed, the case measures 11.5cm x 8cm. Unpacked, it weighs in at a very respectable 176gms.
