Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Victorian sterling silver lidded mustard pot, made by William Hutton & Sons Ltd of London, c-1896. The pot is of oval form with half-fluted base and fitted blue glass liner, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a couple of nibbles at the spoon rest of the glass; nothing too serious). The pot is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 70% overall (starting to fade from the body; clear to the interior of the lid). An attractive mustard pot for the collection.
The pot stands 7cm tall and measures 10cm x 4cm across the top. Unpacked, it weighs in at 193gms with the silver accounting for a respectable 91gms of this.
