Antique Victorian 1891 Australian Sterling Silver Christening Mug Cup Tankard

Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Victorian sterling silver christening mug, likely of Melbourne or Adelaide, c-1891. The cup is of tapering form with bow, fern and flower brightwork, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, though there are a few knocks to the base and an early and discrete repair to the rim. The mug features a heartfelt inscription, with the hallmarks clearly struck. A fine piece for the collector of 19th century Australian silver. 

The cup stands 7cm tall and has a diameter of 6cm at the base. It has a capacity of 150mls and weighs in at 121gms unpacked.
