Here today for your consideration we have this fascinating Victorian mourning bracelet made primarily of plaited hair, complete with a three-part solid 18ct yellow gold clasp, c-1880. The bracelet is of fine quality with skilful plaiting and bright cut detail to the clasp. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The clasp is without hallmark but has been tested and is guaranteed 18ct. The clasp locks securely, with the safety chain in good order. A very nice 19th century mourning bracelet for the collection.
The bracelet has an approximate length of 22cm expanding to 24cm with the safety chain. Unpacked, it weighs in at 8.85gms.
