Antique Victorian 1875 Large 9ct Gold & Blue Enamel Hair Locket Mourning Brooch

Here today for your consideration we have this fascinating Victorian solid 9ct yellow gold mourning brooch, featuring a blue enamel body and hair locket behind bevelled glass, c-1875. The brooch is of fine quality in both design and construction, with high-carat gold wash to the face. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The pin holds good tension within the clasp, and the glass window is without movement. The brooch is inscribed to the reverse with 1867 and 1875 dates and is without hallmark (tested and guaranteed 9ct gold throughout). A very attractive 19th century mourning brooch for the collection.
