Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette, made by Yapp & Woodward of Birmingham, c-1853. The box is of scalloped rectangular form with bright cut floral detail and gilt interior with fancy grille and original sponge, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with no damage to note. The hinges work as intended with the grille well held within the base. The piece is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 90% overall. An attractive piece for the collection.
The piece measures 33mm x 23mm across the top and weighs in at 16gms unpacked.
