Antique Victorian 15ct Yellow Gold Onyx 3mm Rose Cut Diamond Star Locket Brooch

Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful antique solid 15ct yellow gold brooch, featuring a slab of black onyx with a central rose-cut genuine diamond in star-shaped mount, c-1890. The brooch is of very nice form, complete with removable photograph window at the reverse. Condition is good used, with no damage to note (a gentle polish may enhance presentation). The brooch is without hallmark (tested and guaranteed as 15ct gold throughout) and is free from engraving. The window frame sits tightly within the back and the glass is in good order. A very attractive brooch for the collection.

The diamond has a diameter of 3mm with the brooch having a diameter of 30mm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 13.75gms.
