Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Georgian sterling silver sugar bowl, more than likely by Richard Pearce of London, c-1814. The bowl is of traditional form and stands atop four ball feet with gadrooned rim and gilt interior. The quality is very good throughout, both in design and construction. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note (a few light depressions here and there, as expected). The bowl is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 50% overall (fading). A fine early 19th century sterling silver sugar bowl for the collection.
The bowl stands 10.5cm tall and measures 20.5cm handle-to-handle. Unpacked, it weighs in at a respectable 228gms.
