Antique Georgian 1752 Sterling Silver Cauldron Salt Cellar Bowl Dish D Hennell I

Here today for your consideration we have this lovely Georgian sterling silver salt cellar, made by David Hennell I of London, c-1752. The cellar is of cauldron form with three stepped feet and feathered rim, being of good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used, with a few shallow depressions evident throughout. The piece is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 70% overall. An attractive piece for the collection.

The cellar stands 3.5cm tall and has a diameter of about 6cm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 42gms.
