Here today for your consideration we have this superb Art Nouveau sterling silver jewellery casket or sewing box, made by E Mander & Son of Birmingham, c-1903. The box is of square form with hinged lid, having full sterling collar with floral, leaf and scroll themes. Condition is fair used, with damage to the original silk lining and lid evident (per photos). The silver is in good used condition with no major damage, with hinges working as intended. A beautiful piece worthy of restoration.
The box measures 15cm x 15cm and stands 6.5cm tall. Unpacked, it weighs in at 324gms.
