Here today for your consideration we have this superb Edwardian solid 9ct yellow gold brooch, featuring a wreath of four round-cut synthetic ruby stones (paste) and eight delicate seed pearls. The brooch is of nice proportion and good quality and gauge. Condition is good used, with no damage to note (a dedicated polish will enhance presentation). The pin holds reasonably good tension within the catch, with the brooch hallmarked to the side. A beautiful and versatile piece for the collection.
The main stones have diameters of 3mm with the brooch having an overall diameter of 2.5cm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 3.43gms.
