Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful antique solid 9ct yellow gold bar brooch, made by Aronson & Co of Melbourne, c-1900. The brooch is of matte finish throughout, studded with a total of seven (7) synthetic stones. Condition is reasonable throughout, with some glue residue evident around the front and reverse of the settings (per photos). The pin holds good tension within the catch, with the hallmarks well struck. A very nice brooch from one of the most notable Melbourne jewellers of the time.
The brooch measures 57mm x 21mm and weighs in at 4.72gms unpacked.
