Antique Art Deco 1929 Sterling Silver & Blue Glass Mustard Pot Trefoil Pierced

Here today for your consideration we have this superb Art Deco sterling silver and cobalt blue glass mustard pot, made by J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd of London, c-1929. The pot is of oval form with hinged lid and trefoil piercing, having fitted glass liner with bevelled edge. Condition is good used, with no chips or cracks to the glass and the hinge without unintended movement. The pot is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 80% overall (maker fading from body). An attractive piece of silver and glass for the collection.

The piece stands 6.5cm tall and measures 9cm x 4.5cm across the top. Unpacked, it weighs a total of 118gms with the silver accounting for 64gms of this.
