Here today for your consideration we have this superb Art Deco sterling silver and cobalt blue glass mustard pot, made by Arthur & John Zimmerman of Birmingham, c-1922. The pot is of round barrel form with hinged lid and open base, having fitted glass liner with bevelled edge. Condition is good used, with a couple of minor fleabites to the glass rim and a few shallow depressions to the silver in places. The pot is free from monogram or crest, with the hallmarks about 50% overall (near faded to body). An attractive piece of silver and glass for the collection.
The piece stands 6cm tall and measures 8cm x 5.5cm across the top. Unpacked, it weighs a total of 108gms with the silver accounting for 39gms of this.
