Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful pair of antique solid 9ct gold medals, presented to S Millbank for winning the Shean Troubhais with the Sailor's Hornpipe dance at the Union Eight Hour Labor Day event in Perth, c-1921. The medals are both of differing shield shape each with raised cartouche, terminating in a scrolled gold chain loops and jump rings. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The inscription is beautifully executed, with the hallmarks in good order (maker unable to be found). An excellent set of dancing medals for the collector, or talk to your jeweller about adding a bail to use as an eye-catching pendant.
Excluding the jump rings, both medals measures 28mm high and are 20mm and 22mm wide. Unpacked, the set weighs in at 5.22gms.
