Antique 1920 Solid 9ct Yellow Boxing Tournament Sport Medal Fob Pendant 6 Stone

Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful antique solid 9ct gold medal, presented to C.A Williams as the winner of the 6 stone category of the Area 3A boxing tournament, c-1920's. The medal was made by Hiddlestone & Saunders of Melbourne and is of shield shape with brightwork and raised cartouche to the centre, terminating in a gold chain loop and jump ring. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The inscription is beautifully executed, with the hallmarks in good order. An excellent boxing medal for the collector, or talk to your jeweller about adding a bail to use as an eye-catching pendant. 

Excluding the jump ring, the medal measures 31mm x 31mm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 5.68gms.
