Antique 1918 Solid 9ct Yellow Gold Music Best Band Attendance Medal Fob Pendant

Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful antique solid 9ct gold medal, presented to H Hicks by E Treloar Esq. for the best attendance of the O.B.I band, c-1918. The medal was made by Sigmond Hoffnung of Sydney and is of shield shape with brightwork and raised cartouche to the centre, terminating in a gold chain loop and jump ring. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The inscription is beautifully executed, with the hallmarks in good order. An excellent music medal for the collector, or talk to your jeweller about adding a bail to use as an eye-catching pendant. 

Excluding the jump ring, the medal measures 30mm x 27mm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 2.97gms.
