Antique 1915 Solid 9ct Yellow Gold 5 Mile Cycling Sports Medal Fob Pendant 4.6gm

Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful antique solid 9ct gold medal, presented to E.D. Sadler by James Stodart Esq. for winning the 5 mile leg, c-1915. The medal is of diamond shape with brightwork and raised cartouche, terminating in a gold ring loop. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. The inscription is beautifully executed, with the hallmarks in good order. An excellent sporting medal for the collector, or talk to your jeweller about adding a bail to use as an eye-catching pendant. 

The medal measures 40mm x 37mm. Unpacked, it weighs in at 4.62gms.
